The Lemosho Route offers a premier Kilimanjaro trekking experience, perfect for 6-, 7-, or 8-day itineraries tailored to your pace and acclimatization needs. Starting with wide, heath-covered paths, the route gradually transitions through lush rainforest, alpine meadows, and rugged highlands before reaching the arctic zone near Uhuru Peak. The descent takes a different, forested route—making this one of the most scenic and complete Kilimanjaro journeys.

Designed for excellent altitude adaptation, Lemosho boasts the highest summit success rate—up to 95% on the 8-day itinerary. Spanning 46 kilometers (28.5 miles), the route is well-paced, and a high-altitude vehicle drop-off can ease your first steps. While it’s a more premium option, its panoramic views, quiet trails, and superior acclimatization make it a favorite for trekkers aiming for both comfort and summit success. It’s the ideal choice for those who want to experience Kilimanjaro in all its natural beauty—without rushing the journey.
