Your journey begins with a warm welcome from your TMT safari guide at either your hotel or Dar es Salaam International Airport. After a brief safari orientation, set off on a 5–6 hour scenic drive to Mikumi National Park. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of the Uluguru and Udzungwa Mountains, with glimpses of the Selous Game Reserve in the distance. Upon arrival in the afternoon, head straight into your first game drive across Mikumi’s expansive plains. Keep watch for a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, and more.
